So, in the season finale, Amber died because of Amantadine poisoning due to her kidneys being destroyed by the accident. They mentioned that dialysis would not do anything to get rid of Amantadine due to its binding to protein, but here’s an interesting article published in 1976 that suggests otherwise. interesting. Could be. Or the injuries caused by the bus accident change something that would make dialysis not as effective since the guys in the medical article had not been injured, only ill. In the article you mentioned, it also said that repeated dialysis was needed. Maybe that was a factor as well.
