Senator Schumer has issued his statement that Immigration REform is going to be… A couple of things come clear. One being he sees the anchor babies as citizens, and every Constitutional Lawyer in the U.S. does not. Ol’ Schumer complained about the Nazi’s; his mirror would terrify him. In any case, he says if we accept his comprehensive Immigration Reform for a system that is very, very broken, he will support E Verify and biometrics applied to the illegal aliens.

But now he’s trying to massage the message. “Schumer’s basically doing what McCain tried in the election,” says Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies. “[That is] to agree that ‘enforcement first’ is the right approach, but to argue that the enforcement has already happened and now it’s time to proceed to amnesty.” Schumer’s proposal is filled with features that sound tough but likely won’t be at all tough in practice. Krikorian warns that Schumer’s promise to employ high-tech enforcement techniques in the future might come at the cost of amnesty today. After the amnesty is in place, the enforcement measures might never get done.

So this came up and suddenly I see dozens of ways the Congressman could make things very bad for us if we do not comply with his demand.
“Now that the Department of Homeland Security has completed construction of the border fence in California (with one minor exception) some conclusions can be drawn. One conclusion is that DHS’s Custom and Border Security displayed gross negligence in deciding where new fencing was to be installed.”http://www.americanpatrol.com/index.html
You have to read it all, but my question is, is Senator Charles Schumer blackmailing us. Those things he promised in his address to the nation should have been in place a long time ago.
Are we being blackmailed?
