They said nothing about a divorce, they just showed those clips in the preview so you would watch. There were articles in Star and Us Weekly magazine about how Jon went home to visit his mother and went to the bar and hung out with college girls and went to a college party and they are getting a divorce. But on the show, they were just upset because Jon doesn’t like the fact that he can never have his privacy back again and Kate loves where they are at.
However, the show is going to be cancelled soon because Jon and Kate are exploiting their children and making money off of them. Child Protection Services is getting involved because of issues with filming to many hours and the money being spent by Jon and Kate. Even Aunt Jody has come out and spoken about the exploitation o the kids and she no longer speaks with Kate. Her sister has a blog:

And if you google “Jon and Kate plus 8 Aunt Jody Video” you can watch the video aunt jody put online. It’s just really sad, and Jon and Kate said on the finale that they are not sure if they will be coming back with a season 5. But I bet they won’t be because of the concern of the children.
There was no announcement of them divorcing. The big, dramatic announcement was that they are unsure if they will do another season of the show.
No I don’t believe they are getting a divorce the “big conflict” is whether or not to have season 5. The previews and the show were so disappointing.
