California just legalized gay marriage. The Republicans used morals, especially the gay marriage issue, as one of their key platforms in 2004, and it helped Bush get re-elected. The GOP tried to utilize it again in 2006, and it had no effect. Will it work this time if the GOP uses it against the Democrats?
