A “season finale” means end of a season. Finale usually means ’series finale’ and the end of a tv series.
For Prison Break is both a season & series finale; the tv series is ending. No new seasons. The story is ending.
The series finale will be on May 15th on FOX with a double episode.

These last two episode are the end of the series, its getting canceled. Which sucks because prison break is AWESOME!!!
