How Can Obama Win President?

He mostly wins in the red (republican). Hillary wins in the states that are the most important for Democrats.
You must win Florida, California, New York, Mass, Ohio, Michigan, Texas to win in the general election or at least most of them… Hillary has won all of them…and is expected to win another swing state West Virginia. It’s a fact that Clinton is ahead of McCain in the swing states. Why would the super delegates nominate a weaker candidate? Just trying to understand. No rants.

Well the super delegates can still switch until the convention. And yes, Obama will not win most of those states because he will proabably NOT be accepted there, I live in Texas and a lot of people don’t like Obama at all.
Hilary is the only one who has a chance against Mccain in the general election
If obama wants to risk losing, then so be it, it will be a dissapointment, because he really doesn’t have many swing states, nor is he going to win them. That is a fact!!!!

obama has the most states won, most delegates, most popular vote, more superdelegates, and has raised the most money. yet you say he’s the weakest?! friend, just accept the fact it’s over for hillary and move on. florida and michigan went against KNOWN party rules. sorry for the voters of those states but they’re the ones that elected those people.

He can’t and he won’t… the delegates and Obamas party are really hoping that Hillary will quit and then help to elect him.. she has the majority on her side.. he has a lot who are not going to vote for him come elections.. don’t worry.. his side knows it and that is why they are so desperately calling for her to quit. I hope she stays in and then I hope her following either stay home or vote McCain.
I firmly believe voting Obama as president would be a disaster for this country.

i heard yesterday that many of hillary’s own campaign people are leaving her for Obama cuz they believe now that her policy about the future is vague. i am from california. yep, most people voted for her here and they were mostly the asians.

We better hope he can’t!!! Have you listened to his wife? Who would want this negative woman as First Lady? Not me! Listen to her “Gospel of Misery”……… yet, she’s gone to the finest schools in America. She’s privileged. Why is it that all she can say is ‘negative’?

the supers are afraid that much of the part base will abandon the dems if they don’t go with the poplar vote/pledged delegate winner.
But you are correct, Obama is going to have a hard time in November.

Its pretty simple really… Almost ANY Democrat will win traditionally Democratic states when facing a Republican. Ask Gore and Kerry. Clinton’s arguments to the contrary are specious at best.

Just because Hillary won them in the primary doesn’t mean democrats won’t vote for him as a democrat in the general election.

Rep’s are voting for Obama as well as Clinton. My state is Red turning Blue for either Obama or Clinton. Our State will not endorse McCain. That’s NV Calif will endorse Obama.
