Absolutely. My question isn’t about that, but now that you’re here…
Why is the President of the United States the only elected official not elected by a popular vote?
Doesn’t a state like Texas have areas of high population density and very low population density? Then why doesn’t Texas, California, Colorado, Alaska, Arizona, Illinois, etc use an “electoral college” to elect their governors?
Why are we told that electing a President via EC is the “best way to go for all states” if its not the best way to go for all cities in a state-wide election?

The Founders were very wise men. Would you like to have the President elected by the people of New York, Chicago, Miami, and California?
Btw, Palin has the highest rating, ever, of any sitting Governor.
Voter fraud doesnt affect EC to a high degree, but if you had fingerprint recognition to vote then popular choice is the way to go. I am soooooo against EC. This race will be close in the popular vote but a blow out in teh EC.
Also, as long as we have the EC, your vote DOES NOT count!! You will not convince me otherwise.
Because it is written.
Yes, she sure is.
My God if that’s what governorship is judged by…
I hate you
